 Matthias Wellers 博士

2006 – Present: Managing Director of AVL Powertrain UK.

2001 – 2005: Head of IAV UK Branch in Dunton. Manager at IAV

1998 – 2001: Senior engineer at DaimlerChrysler, member of Research & Technology division of DaimlerChrysler

1994 – 1998: PhD  and Academic staff member of the Institute of Automatic Control, RWTH Aachen.

1988 – 1993: Studies in mechanical engineering in Germany (University Bochum and RWTH Aachen) and USA (Dartmouth College). 

高博 博士

Dr. Bo Gao is the department manager for Electronics & Controls division in AVL Powertrain UK Ltd. He is now leading the vehicle electrification activities within the company. He is also a member of AVL global controls committee. Since joining AVL in 2006 Dr. Gao has been working on various vehicle programs involved with several OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Prior to joining AVL, Dr. Gao was a research officer in the department of Mechanical Engineering in University of Bath, where he worked on vehicle dynamics and stability control. Dr. Gao has a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Bath in UK. His PhD research was on the development of a novel hydro-pneumatic active suspension system supported by Jaguar Land Rover and Ford Motor Company. He obtained his bachelor and master degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University. Dr Gao is a Chartered Engineer and a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He holds one patent and has co-authored more than 20 technical papers.
