Chair Professor and Head in Lehrstuhl für Technische Thermodynamik (LTT) - Director in Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBI) and Director in Erlangen Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies (SAOT).  Fellow International Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). William F. Meggers Award Committee for Optical Society of America Editorial Boards of International Journal of Engine Research and Journal of Energy Technology. More than 300 publications with 372.65 total impacts have been online.

报告摘要：

The presentation "Optical Diagnostics for Engine Research" is the development and application of optical measurement techniques for combustion research. One of the most important experimental tools in engine research is the high pressure / high temperature injection and combustion chamber at the LTT test bench in Nürnberg. This test bench provides nearly unique characteristics for the investigation of engine injection and combustion processes which is the reason that nearly all main German car manufactures - AUDI, BMW and Volkswagen - have ordered and are now using such an equipment.
